Disklavier and electronics
Eighty-eight iron rods are attached to each of the Disklavier's keys, their ends touching eight small boards installed on the floor. While the composed solo piano music is played by the Disklavier, the 88 iron bars move according to the movements of each key. Eight small boards on the floor use piezo pickups to capture the impacts of the iron rods and produce friction sounds depending on the materials of the boards.
Yeoeum II (2016) was recreated for self-performing-sound-installation from Yeoeum (2014), which was composed for a network concert between California and Paris.
